Bruins Take No. 1 Doubles Third Place at MVC Individual Championships

CHICAGO – Closing out play at the 2024 Missouri Valley Conference Individual Tennis Championships in Chicago, the Belmont senior duo of Anastasiya Zholdakova and Aly Getty captured third place in the top doubles flight.
 
At the University of Illinois Chicago's XS Tennis Village Sunday morning, Zholdakova and Getty defeated Drake's Laura Koralnik and Jessica Popiol 8-3 for third place.
 
The Bruins will now turn their attention to next week's Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Ohio Valley Regional Championships, hosted by Middle Tennessee State University Thursday-Monday, Oct. 10-14 at the MTSU Tennis Complex in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
