SOUTH PITTSBURG, Tenn. – Darkness suspended the afternoon matches at the Sweetens Cove Intercollegiate held Monday at Sweetens Cove Golf Club in South Pittsburg, Tennessee.
At the time that Belmont's semifinal match with Western Carolina match was suspended, WCU led in four of the six matches. The two BU golfers who were leading their matches were junior Michael Senn and freshman
Jack Darke. Senn was 4-up after 13 holes in his match with Ivan Ninkovic, while Darke was 1-up through 12 holes against Andrew Korytoski.Â
The current scores of the four other matches are:
Magnus Pederson leads
Jack Schoenberger – 3-up
Pablo Hernandez leads
Reeve Felner 2-up
Jace Butcher leads
Conner Brown – 3-up
Michael Bevins leads
Joe Bultman 2-up
The scores of the other afternoon matches at the time of suspension are:
Semifinal – High Point leads Miami (OH) 3-1 with two matches tied
Consolation – Samford and Bowling Green tied at 3
Consolation – South Dakota State leads Murray State 4-2
Earlier in the day, Belmont and Samford tied their first round match 3-3, but the Bruins won the tiebreaker and advanced to the semifinals as they won more total holes than the Bulldogs.
Belmont's three wins were as followed:

Conner Brown d. Damin Strydom – 1-up
Jack Darke d. Craig Sanders 5&3
All suspended matches will be restarted Tuesday morning at 10:00am. The championship/consolation matches will begin immediately following the conclusion of the semifinal/consolation matches.  Â
