ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. – The Belmont men's golf team finished in a tie for fifth place after rain canceled the final round of the Peoples Golf Championship at Sea Palms in St. Simons Island, Georgia.Â
Belmont finished in a tie for fifth with host Western Carolina with a 36-hole score of 570. Davidson won the team title with a score of 547.Â
Three Bruins, sophomore
Jack Schoenberger, senior
Reeve Felner, and junior Michael Senn, finished in tie for 12
th place at 141. Other Belmont scores included: sophomore
Conner Brown (T-60, 148), graduate student
Joe Bultman (T-75, 151), and freshman
Jack Darke, competing as an individual (T-75, 151).
The men's golf team in back in action on March 17-19 at the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate in Sevierville, Tennessee.
