Men's Golf Stands 10th after 36 Holes of the Golfweek/National Golf Invitational

Michael Senn posts a second round 70 to lead the Bruins.

MARICOPA, Ariz. – The Belmont men's golf team stands in 10th place after two rounds of the Golfweek/National Golf Invitational held Saturday at Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club in Maricopa, Arizona.

Belmont improved their score from round one, posting a 292 to finish the day in 10th place at 590.  TCU has the team lead at 556, while Washington State is in second at 557.

Junior Michael Senn continues to lead the Bruins as he shot a second round 70 to end the day in a tie for 20th place at 143.  He is 10 shots back of the individual leader, Anthony Delisanti of Valparaiso, who is at 133.

Sophomore Conner Brown shot an even par 72 to move up four spots to a tie for 32nd place at 148.

Other Belmont scores from the day included: freshman Jack Darke (T-41, 151), freshman Grey Goff (T-41, 151), and senior Reeve Felner (T-45, 154).

The third and final round will begin Sunday morning at 7:00am MT.  Belmont's golfers will tee off from the 10th hole from 7:38-8:12am.  Live scoring can be found at BelmontBruins.com or Golfstat.com.
