Women's Tennis Collects Pair of Doubles Wins to Begin Belmont/Lipscomb Invitational

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Opening fall tournament play at the Beaman Family Tennis Complex in Nashville Friday evening, the Belmont University women's tennis team went 2-2 in doubles action on day one of the Belmont/Lipscomb Invitational.
 
Taking on Eastern Kentucky in two rounds of doubles, senior Anastasiya Zholdakova teamed up with junior Libbie Hamilton while senior Aly Getty played alongside sophomore Hana Sokolovic. Both pairs earned 6-1 victories in Friday's second round.

Play continues Saturday with a final round of doubles at 9 a.m., followed by two rounds of singles beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday's second round of singles will get started at 2 p.m.
