NASHVILLE, Tenn. - - Belmont University women's soccer (1-4) returns to their home turf on Thursday, Sept. 5, for a non-conference bout against Coast Carolina (1-2-2).
Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. CT from E.S. Rose Park. The match will be broadcast on ESPN+.
What's Bruin
- Thursday's match is Belmont's first home match since their season opener against Lindenwood on Aug. 15.
- Freshman Reagan Ross leads the team with two goals and is tied for sixth in the MVC. Ross leads the team in shots (8) and shots on goal (5).
- Senior Carly Ross made her team-high 45th career start over the weekend against Marshall.
- Belmont has placed at least five shots on goal in four of their five matches.
- Sophomore Lillie Tabor leads the team with 436 minutes.
Scouting the Chanticleers
- Goalkeeper Vivienne Car was named the Sun Belt Conference Defensive Player of the Week for her six saves against East Carolina and UAB.
- The Chanticleers picked up their first win of the season on Sunday, Sept. 1, with a 1-0 victory against UAB. Redshirt sophomore Tamlyn Parkes scored a penalty kick in the 87th minute.
- Parkes and freshman Olivia Goretski have scored CCU's two goals this season. Junior Stella Lawson registered the team's lone assist on Aug. 15 versus Richmond.
- Coastal Carolina was picked 12th in the SBC Preseason Coaches Poll.

- Thursday's match is the first all-time meeting between the two teams.
