NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Due to a forecasted winter storm Friday, which is predicted to impact travel conditions across middle Tennessee, the Belmont University women's basketball team's Missouri Valley Conference home matchup versus the University of Illinois Chicago has been moved up to a 2 p.m. tipoff from the Curb Event Center in Nashville. The game was originally scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
The Bruins (7-7, 2-1 MVC) are looking to improve to 5-0 in the series with UIC. Belmont went 1-1 last week in its first MVC road trip of the season, defeating Southern Illinois 79-66 last Saturday afternoon after being edged 57-55 at Missouri State last Thursday night.
The Flames (4-8, 1-2 MVC) enter the weekend on a two-game slide after going 0-2 in their trip to Iowa last weekend where they fell to Northern Iowa (75-64) and Drake (86-63).
Friday afternoon's game will be broadcast on
