HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Belmont women's golf team stands in eighth place after day one of The Judson held Monday at Hattiesburg Country Club in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
Belmont carded rounds of 302 and 310 on Monday to finish the day in eighth place at 612. Tulane has the team lead at 565, while Southern Miss is second at 568.
Leading the way for the Bruins is sophomore
Sloane Biddle. She carded rounds of 75 and 76 to finish the day in a tie for 29
th place at 151.
Graduate student
Chloe Tarkany is one stroke back of Biddle and in a tie for 34
th place at 152. She posted identical rounds of 76.
Other Belmont scores from day one include: freshman
Lauren Davis (T-041, 155), junior
Paige Hammarstrom (45
th, 156), and sophomore
Sophie Skoog (T-52, 162).
Southern Miss' Fernanda Gorostiaga is the individual leader at 138.
