HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Belmont women's golf team finished in a tie for seventh place at The Judson held Monday at Hattiesburg Country Club in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
Belmont carded a final round 305 to finish in a tie for seventh place with Lamar at 917.  Host Southern Miss won the team title in a playoff over Tulane (851).
Leading the way for the Bruins was sophomore 
Sloane Biddle.  The Old Hickory, Tennessee native shot a three-under par 69 on Tuesday to move up to a tie for 15
th place at 220.  She finished nine strokes back of the medalist, Taylor Trible of Southern Miss (211).
Her 69 was the lowest by a Bruin this season and is one stroke off her career best round of 68 posted last season.  In addition, it was her fourth top-15 finish of the fall.
Graduate student 
Chloe Tarkany shot a final round 75 to finish in a tie for 26
th place at 227. 
Other Belmont scores from the tournament included: junior 
Paige Hammarstrom (T-42, 232), freshman 
Lauren Davis (52
nd, 240), and sophomore 
Sophie Skoog (T-57, 247).
The Bruins have a few days off before getting back on the course this weekend at The Robbie, held this Friday-Sunday in Owens Cross Roads, Alabama outside Huntsville.
