Women’s Soccer Hosts Murray State Sunday Evening

Bruins Look to Extend Unbeaten Streak to Three

NASHVILLE, Tenn. –The Belmont Bruins women's soccer team (3-3-5, 1-1-1 MVC) will host Murray State on Sunday October 5th, for a Missouri Valley Conference showdown at E.S. Rose Park. Kickoff is set for 6:00 p.m.

The Bruins enter the contest riding momentum after a dominant 4-1 victory over Northern Iowa. Belmont has scored six goals in its last two matches, marking its most productive offensive stretch of the season.

Sophomore forward Reagan Ross, fresh off being named the MVC Player of the Week, leads the Bruins into Sunday's contest. Ross tallied a goal and an assist against UNI, and currently sits tied for the team lead in points (5). Fellow forward Laken Whittington  have also provided scoring sparks, combining for four goals this year. With Whittington netting a goal Sunday, against UNI as well.
