NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Belmont (1-10) and Notre Dame (8-1) wrapped up their weekend series Sunday afternoon at E.S. Rose Park. The Bruins' one-run lead wasn't enough, as the Fighting Irish scored in each of the final three innings to win 6-2 and complete the sweep.

Scoring Action
- Belmont scored the first run of the game in the third inning. The Bruins were the beneficiaries of a throwing error that allowed Charlie Davis to score.
- Notre Dame's Jayce Lee tied the game at 1-1 in the seventh inning with an RBI double.
- Brady Gumpf hit a pinch-hit three-run home run to right field in the eighth inning. Notre Dame led 4-1.
- Landon Godsey hit a ground ball up the middle that scored Davis from third base. Belmont trailed 4-2 going into the ninth inning.
- Notre Dame scored two runs on two hits and an error in the ninth inning to grow their lead to 6-2.
Bruin Bullets
- Charlie Davies led the Bruins with three hits and scored both runs. He also stole two bases.
- Nolan Sergeant recorded his first collegiate hit.
- Jake Timbes threw four scoreless innings with five strikeouts. Timbes allowed only two hits and walked one batter.
- Owen March tossed 2.2 innings in relief and allowed one run and three hits.
