OLD HICKORY, Tenn. – The Belmont women's golf team stands in 15
th place after day one of The Nashville Invitational held this week on the President's Reserve course at Hermitage Golf Course in Old Hickory, Tennessee.
The Bruins posted identical rounds of 320 to finish the day in 15
th place at 640. Washington State and Iowa are tied for the team lead at 592.
The lone Belmont golfer among the top-25 is junior
Chloe Tarkany, who is tied for 23
rd place at 152. She carded rounds of 77 and 75 on Monday. She is nine shots back of the individual leaders: Hannah Harrison of Washington State and Louis Dahl of Cal State Fullerton (143).
Freshman
Sloane Biddle, playing in her hometown of Old Hickory, is tied for 56
th place at 158. She shot identical rounds of 79.
Other Belmont scores from day one include: senior
Eva Graham (T-73, 165), freshman
Emilee Swagger (T-73, 165), sophomore
Paige Hammarstrom (T-79, 175).
Freshman
Sophie Skoog, competing as an individual, is tied for 86
th place at 173.
