Biddle Awaits the NCAA Championship Selection Show on Wednesday

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Sophomore women's golfer Sloane Biddle will find out where she will be competing in the NCAA Women's Golf Championship when the team and individual selections are announced on Wednesday, April 29.

Biddle earned a spot in this year's field by winning the Missouri Valley Conference Individual Championship last week in Silvis, Illinois.  She is the first Belmont's women's golfer to win a conference individual title and earn a berth into the NCAA Championship in program history. 

In addition to the individual championship, the Old Hickory, Tennessee native was named MVC Golfer of the Year and earned a spot on the All-Conference team for the second consecutive year.  She led the Bruins in scoring (73.3), won two individual titles, and had a total of six top-five finishes.  Sloane also finished in the top-15 in all 10 events she competed in this season. 

This year's championship field will be announced this Wednesday, April 29 at 3:00pm CT on Golf Channel.    The five regional sites are: Ann Arbor, Michigan, Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Simpsonville, Kentucky, Stanford, California, Tallahassee, Florida, and Waco, Texas.  The tournament championship will be held May 22-27 in Carlsbad, California.
