OLD HICKORY, Tenn. – The Belmont women's golf team finished in 15
th place at The Nashville Invitational held this week on the President's Reserve course at Hermitage Golf Course in Old Hickory, Tennessee.
The Bruins posted a final round 317 to finish in 15
th place at 957. Iowa won the team title with a score of 893. Washington State placed second at 895.
The lone Belmont golfer among the top-25 is junior
Chloe Tarkany, who posted a 75 in the final round to tie for 21
st place at 227. She finished 11 shots back of the medalist, Louis Dahl of Cal State Fullerton (216).
Freshman
Sloane Biddle shot a 77 on Tuesday to move up seven spots and finish in a tie for 49
th place at 235.
Other Belmont scores included: senior
Eva Graham (T-73, 246), freshman
Emilee Swagger (T-77, 249), sophomore
Paige Hammarstrom (T-89, 261).
Freshman
Sophie Skoog, competing as an individual, is tied for 85
th place at 254.
The women's golf team will be back in action next Monday-Tuesday, March 31-April 1, at the Coach Mo Classic in St. Augustine, Florida.
