NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Belmont (2-11) closed out their five-game homestand Wednesday night against Tennessee Tech (10-4). Despite a strong start, the Golden Eagles' bats were too much to contain as Tennessee Tech won 16-3 in eight innings.

- Tennessee Tech's Jorsixt Jimenez drove in the first run of the game with an RBI double to left field in the first inning.
- Blake Barton tied the game in the first inning with an RBI single to left field.
- Tennessee Tech retook the lead at 3-1 in the third on a wild pitch and a ground out
- Ty Allen drove in Pete Daniel on an RBI single in the third inning. Belmont trailed 3-2.
- The Golden Eagles added three runs in the fourth inning on three hits to grow their lead to 6-2.
- Kaden Galason led off the bottom of the fifth with a double. Daniel drove him with a two-out RBI single to right field. The Bruins trailed 6-3 heading into the sixth inning.
- Tennessee Tech scored 10 runs on 10 hits in the next three innings to run rule the Bruins 16-3.
