PEORIA, Ill. – Belmont (15-21, 5-5 MVC) and Bradley (4-26, 0-10 MVC) kicked off their weekend series Friday night at Dozer Park. In a game when the ball wasn't flying around the park, it wasn't the chilly conditions that kept the scoring low. Belmont's early scoring and dominant seven-inning start from
Joe Ruzicka resulted in Belmont's fifth MVC win. The Bruins defeated Bradley 3-0 in the series opener.
