WATERLOO, Ill. – The Belmont women's golf team jumped three spots in Tuesday's final round to finish in sixth place at the MVC Championship held this week at Annbriar Golf Club in Waterloo, Illinois.
Belmont carded a final round 305 to move up three spots to sixth place and a 54-hole score of 922.  It was the program's eighth straight top-six finish at a conference championship. Â
Illinois State won the team title for the second year in a row, posting a score of 874.  Missouri State finished second at 905. Â
Three Bruins finished among the top-25 at the championship.   Freshman
Sloane Biddle shot a final round 77 to finish in a tie for 14
th place at 227.  It was her seventh top-20 finish of the season.  She finished 12 shots back of the individual champion, Jillian Coster of Bradley (215).
Senior
Eva Graham and junior
Chloe Tarkany each tied for 23
rd place at 230.  Graham carded a 74 on Tuesday, while Tarkany posted a 76.
Freshman
Harper Edwards tied for 32
nd at 235, while fellow freshman
Emilee Swagger tied for 55
th at 248.
This tournament wraps up the 2024-25 season for the women's golf team.  They posted six top-six finishes in 10 events, including a season-best second place showing at the Braun Intercollegiate. Â
