ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Freshman
Sloane Biddle earned All-Missouri Valley Conference honors as the conference office announced postseason awards Tuesday afternoon.
The Old Hickory, Tennessee native had a great start to her Belmont career.  She ranked second on the team in scoring with a 75.9 average, won one individual title (Brickyard Collegiate), and had four top-10 and seven top-20 finishes.  Her 75.9 average is the second lowest by a Belmont freshman in program history (
Delia Gibbs - 75.7). Â
Sloane becomes just the third Belmont freshman to earn All-Conference honors, joining
Lorie Warren Drake and
Delia Gibbs. Â
She is also the third Bruin to earn All-MVC honors, joining Gibbs and
Ryan Bender. Â
