MARTIN, Tenn. – Belmont (17-26) and UT Martin (15-24) faced off for the second time this season Tuesday night. Trailing 3-1 after the first inning, the Bruins turned Skyhawk Baseball Field into their launching pad. Belmont hit three home runs, six doubles and totaled 13 hits in their 12-5 win, completing the season sweep over UT Martin.

Scoring Action
- Landon Godsey – the third batter of the game – hit an RBI double to score Blake Barton in the first inning.
- UT Martin scored three runs in the bottom of the first, highlighted by a two-run home run from Arderrius Townsend.
- Belmont scored three runs in response in the second inning. Gardner Lawrence hit a leadoff solo home run to right field. Charlie Davis hit an RBI double. Godsey hit a sacrifice fly that scored Davis. Belmont retook the lead, 4-3.
- The Bruins added another run in the fifth inning on a sacrifice fly from Ty Allen.
- The Skyhawks tied the game at 5-5 in the fifth inning on a double from Garner Anderson that scored two runs.
- Gardner Lawrence hit his second home run of the game to give Belmont a 6-5 lead in the sixth inning.
- Belmont scored six runs on six hits in the seventh inning. Jake Maddox hit a sacrifice fly to start the scoring. Michael Lareau launched a three-run dinger to right field. Barton drove home two more Bruins on a single to center field. Belmont went on to win the game, 12-5

- Michael Lareau went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run. Lareau extended his hit streak to 10 games.
- Owen Marsh improved to 3-1. He set season-highs in innings pitched (3) and strikeouts (4). He allowed one hit and no free passes.
- Logan Brock threw two scoreless innings and recorded a strikeout.
- Marsh and Brock held UT Martin to three hits in the last five innings.
