Women's Golf Stands Sixth After Round One of Brickyard Collegiate

MACON, Ga. - - Belmont University women's golf stands in sixth place after day one of the Brickyard Collegiate hosted by Mercer University.
 
The Bruins posted an opening round team total of 314 (+26), just six shots out of third place and looking up to team leader Mercer.
 
Sloane Biddle led the way for Belmont, carding three birdies en route to an opening round one over par 73 to stand atop the leaderboard alongside Emilia Vaisto and Eujin Pyon of Mercer.
 
Eva Graham also carded three birdies in her first round of 77 to stand 23^rd.
 
Chloe Tarkany and Emilee Swagger each shot 82 in round one.
 
The final round will take place Tuesday morning.
