Men's Tennis Sweeps Chattanooga in Hidden Dual Saturday

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Continuing their split-squad weekend at the Louisville and MTSU Invitationals, the Belmont University men's tennis team earned a sweep of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Saturday in a hidden dual match in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The Bruins also claimed a trio of singles victories in Louisville, Kentucky, on the second day of the Louisville Invitational.
 
The tandems of senior Eli Mizerski and sophomore Morgan Woodson and sophomore Esteban Ortiz and freshman Bautista Durrels Rojo both picked up 7-5 doubles wins against the Mocs, before Belmont took all four singles matches. Woods, Ortiz and Mizerski came up with three-set triumphs versus Chattanooga, while Durrels Rojo cruised to a straight-set victory.
 
Playing only singles in Louisville Saturday, senior Sabi Roi, junior Stefan Vedovelli and freshman Austin Yack won their opening matches of the day in straight sets.

Belmont faces host Middle Tennessee in a hidden dual format on the final day of the MTSU Invitational.
