INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Belmont women's golf team finished in a tie for seventh place at the Butler Fall Invitational held this week at Highland Country Club in Indianapolis.
Belmont carded a final round 305 to finish in a tie for seventh with Indiana State at 904. Marian (IN) won the team title with a score of 869, with Akron in second at 875
Sophomore
Sloane Biddle led the Bruins as she tied for ninth place with a mark of 220. She shot a final round 75 on Tuesday. It was her second straight top-10 finish.
Junior
Paige Hammarstrom carded a final round 77 and finished in a tie for 30
th place at 227.
Other Belmont scores from event included: graduate student
Chloe Tarkany (T-36, 229), freshman
Lauren Davis (T-53, 232), and sophomore
Harper Edwards (T-62, 234).
The women's golf team is back in action October 20-21 at the Braun Intercollegiate in Evansville, Indiana.
