Nashville, Tenn.  - - Belmont Women's Soccer earned a 1-1 draw against Eastern Kentucky on Thursday night from E.S. Rose Park.

The Bruins took a 1-0 lead as
Laken Whittington scored in the 27th minute, a beautiful header goal from a well-timed cross down the right flank by
Ava Labocki.Â
EKU equalized in the 72nd minute as Emma Wolf was credited with the a goal that bounced around in the box. The goal snapped a stretch of over 300 minutes of clean sheets.
Belmont pushed for a game-winner in the final 10 minutes, but a dangerous one-timer from
Kate Virtel went just wide of the left post and a late volley from
Reagan Ross was tipped over the bar by a sprawling save from EKU goalkeeper Jordan LeVasseur.Â
