OWENS CROSS ROADS, Ala. – The Belmont women's golf team is in third place as darkness suspended play Monday at the Huntsville Invitational held at the RTJ Trail at Hampton Cove in Owens Cross Roads, Alabama.
With three to four holes to play in the second round for most players, Belmont is in third place at +16.  North Alabama has the team lead at +5, while Austin Peay is second at +10.  UAB is in fourth place at +19.
Three Bruins are among the top-10 as play was suspended on Monday.  Sophomore
Sloane Biddle is tied for second at even par with Austin Peay's Jordan Cowing.  They are four strokes back of the leader, Kerigan Klauber of North Alabama (-4).
Graduate student
Chloe Tarkany is a stroke back of Biddle and Cowing and in a tie for fourth at +1.  Freshman
Lauren Davis is tied for seventh place at +3.
Junior
Paige Hammarstrom is tied for 33
rd place at +14, while sophomore
Harper Edwards is tied for 39
th at +16.
Sophomore
Emilee Swagger, competing as an individual, is tied for 56
th place at +26.
The second round will be restarted at 8:00am CT.  Once completed, the field will start their third and final round.
