NASHVILLE, Tenn. - - The Belmont women's golf team stands in third after day one of the Houston Lake Invitational in Perry, Georgia.
Belmont carded rounds of 302 and 299 on Sunday to finish in third place at 601. ETSU has the team lead at 584, while host Mercer is one shot ahead of BU in second place at 600.
Three Bruins are among the top-10 after 36 holes. Graduate student
Chloe Tarkany is in fourth place at 148. She posted rounds of 75 and 73. Tarkany is 11 strokes back of the individual leader, Arisa Piyamanit of ETSU (137).
Junior
Paige Hammarstrom shot rounds of 72 and 80 to finish the day tied for eighth place at 152. Her first round 72 tied her best round as a Bruin.
Sophomore
Sloane Biddle is in 10
th place at 156 after carding rounds of 76 and 77 on Sunday.

Lauren Davis, and sophomore
Sophie Skoog, who is competing as an individual.
