MURRAY, KY. – The Belmont women's golf team is in fourth place after day one of the Jhan Weaver Invitational held Saturday in Murray, Kentucky.
Belmont shot rounds of 300 and 296 as a team on Saturday to finish the day in fourth place at 596. Host Murray State has the team lead at 566, while Austin Peay is second at 579.
Two Bruins are among the top-20 after 36 holes. Sophomore
Sloane Biddle is tied for seventh at 144, just two strokes back of the individual leader, Tina von Arx of Murray State (142). Biddle posted rounds of 73 and 71 on day one.
Junior
Paige Hammarstrom is tied for 18
th place at 149 after carding rounds of 72 and 77 on Saturday.

Sophie Skoog (T-30, 154), sophomore
Harper Edwards (T-37, 158).
Freshman
Lauren Davis, competing as an individual, is tied for 12
th at 148.
