MURRAY, Ky. – The Belmont women's golf team finished in fourth place after at the Jan Weaver Invitational held this weekend in Murray, Kentucky.
Belmont shot a final round 297 as a team to finish in fourth place with a 54-hole score of 893. Austin Peay and host Murray State tied for the team title at 863.
Three Bruins finished among the top-20 at this weekend's event. Sophomore
Sloane Biddle posted her fifth top-five finish of the season as she carded a final round 71 to finish alone in fourth place at 215. She finished three shots back of the medalist, Jordin Cowing of Austin Peay (212).
Graduate student
Chloe Tarkany tied for 16
th place at 224 after shooting a final round 74. Fellow Arizonan and junior
Paige Hammarstrom was one shot back of Tarkany and finished tied for 18
th at 225.
Sophomore
Harper Edwards tied for 32th place at 234, while fellow sophomore
Sophie Skoog finished in 38
th place at 238.
Freshman
Lauren Davis, competing as an individual, finished alone in 15
th place at 223.
The women's golf team will be back in action at the MVC Championship, held April 19-21, at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Illinois.
