NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Belmont men's golf team is back on the links this Monday and Tuesday at the Racer Intercollegiate in Murray, Kentucky.
BRUIN BITES
- In their last event, the Bruins finished in fourth place at the Sweetens Cove Intercollegiate in South Pittsburg, Tennessee. They finished with a 1-0-2 record, beating Queens, but losing in a tiebreaker to Bowing Green and Wright State.Â
- Freshman Charlie Spiller leads the team in scoring with a 72.6 average. Junior Chris Harpum is second at 72.8, while Bown is third at 73.4.
- Brown leads the team in top-10 (3) and top-20 finishes (4).
The Racer Intercollegiate, hosted by Murray State, is a two-day, 54-hole event, with 36 holes contested Monday and 18 holes Tuesday. It will be held at the Country Club of Paducah, which will play to par 72 and a length of, 7,014 yards.
The field features 15 teams and includes the likes of Austin Peay, Dayton, Chattanooga, UT-Martin, Tennessee Tech, and three other MVC squads: host Murray State, Bradley, and Southern Illinois.
