Women's Soccer Set to Take On Chattanooga Thursday

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - - Belmont University women's soccer is set to play at home Thursday against Chattanooga.
 
Kickoff is set for 5:00 p.m. CT from E.S. Rose Park. Live stats will be provided and the game will be streamed on ESPN+.

WHAT'S BRUIN
Belmont finished the 2025 season with a 4-6-7 overall record and 2-4-3 in league play.
The Bruins narrowly missed out on a spot in the conference tournament last season, finishing just one point outside of the playoff picture.
Belmont starts the season off 0-1-1 after a strong draw against Tennessee Tech. and a tough 2-0 loss on the road against the defending Southern Conference champion and top 50 program, Samford.
Greta Genie was named MVC goalkeeper of the week on Tuesday after making a career high 10 saves against Samford on Sunday.

About the Mocs
Finished the season 10-5-4 and 4-2-3 in conference play. 
Chattanooga qualified for the Southern Conference Tournament last season however were upset in the first round against Furman.
The Mocs open their season 1-0-1 after 1-1 tie against UT Martin and a statement 5-0 victory against Winthrop on the road.
Chattanooga struggled on the road last season going 2-4-3 despite an 8-0-1 home record. The Mocs are looking for back to back road wins for the first time since 2023.

Series History
Belmont and Chattanooga meet for the fifth time in match up history, with the Bruins holding a 1-2-1 record against the Mocs. The most recent match up came in 2025, when Chattanooga defeated Belmont 4-2.
The last time the Mocs came to E.S. Rose Park, the two teams battled to a 1-1 tie back in 2024, featuring a goal from Ava Labocki.
