Women's Soccer Takes on UIC to Open Conference Play at Home

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - - Belmont University women's soccer returns home this weekend as they take on the University of Illinois Chicago.

Kickoff is set for 12:00 p.m. CT from E.S. Rose Park. Live stats will be provided and the game will be streamed on ESPN+.

WHAT'S BRUIN

• The Bruins start the season off 1-3-4 coming off a 0-0 tie at Southeast Missouri to end non-conference play.
• Belmont displayed excellent play offensively and defensively on the the pitch Sunday controlling the game on both ends.
• The Bruins return to E.S. Rose Park for the first time since August 27th. 
• Belmont currently holds an 11 game regular season unbeaten streak at home dating back to last season.

About The Flames

• Last season UIC finished 8-8-6 and 3-3-3 in conference play.
• The Flames would go on to win the MVC Championship, defeating Illinois State in PKs.
• UIC enter conference play standing at 1-5-2 following a 2-0 victory over Western Illinios.

Series History

• Belmont and UIC meet for the fifth time in program history with their first match up coming in 2022 when the Bruins joined the MVC.
• Belmont will be defending Rose Park against UIC for the first time since 2022 where the Flames came away with a 1-0 victory.
