Men's Basketball Faces Tennessee State Saturday

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - - Belmont University men's basketball continues a busy stretch Saturday at Tennessee State. 

The Bruins dropped a 74-63 decision at Eastern Kentucky Thursday. Sophomore Craig Bradshaw (Ridgetop, Tenn.) led Belmont with 22 points.

Saturday's game completes a stretch of 14 out of 20 games away from home for Belmont. Of the 68 NCAA Tournament teams last season, only James Madison will play more of its first 20 games away from home.

Belmont and Tennessee State had five All-OVC selections last season (Bruins: Ian Clark, Kerron Johnson; Tigers: Patrick Miller, Robert Covington, Kellen Thornton).

Former Bruin point guard and current Columbia State head coach Brian Collins ('06) served as a graduate assistant and director of basketball operations at Tennessee State from 2007-09.
