NASHVILLE, Tenn. - - Belmont University men's basketball continues a three-game homestand Thursday night against Morehead State.
The Bruins defeated Fairfield, 62-53, Monday in a game rescheduled from Dec. 11. Senior J.J. Mann (Smyrna, Ga.) led balanced Bruin scoring with 15 points.
Belmont and Morehead State have each enjoyed postseason success in recent years. The Bruins reached the NCAA Tournament six of the last eight years while Morehead State won game in the NCAA Tournament in 2009 and 2011.
This marks the third meeting between Belmont and Morehead State. The Bruins won both meetings last season; 64-63 in Morehead and 93-74 in Nashville.
