KENNESAW, Ga. – In their last event of the fall season, the Belmont men's golf team finished in ninth place at this week's Pinetree Intercollegiate held at Pinetree Country Club in Kennesaw, Georgia.Â
The Bruins posted a final round score of 319 to finish the event in ninth place with a 54-hole mark of 916.  Mercer won the team title with a score of 866, with Francis Marion and Western Kentucky tied for second at 888.
Two Belmont golfers finished among the top-30. Junior
Reeve Felner led the Bruins as he tied for 20
th place at 225. He shot a 78 in Tuesday's final round. It was his first top-20 finish of the season. Graduate student
Joe Bultman shot an 81 on Tuesday to finish in a tie for 30
th place at 230.Â
Other Belmont scores from the tournament included: freshman
Jack Schoenberger (T-39, 232), sophomore Michael Senn (T42nd, 233), and graduate student
Winston Margaritis (T-45, 236).
This tournament wraps up the fall season for the Bruins. The team posted three top-six finishes in five events with a fall best third place finish at Marshall in September. They will kick off the spring season February 19-21 at the Mickey Mouse Intercollegiate in Orlando, Florida.Â
