NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Winners of six of their last seven games and currently atop the Ohio Valley Conference standings, the Belmont University baseball team will welcome the defending OVC champions, Southeast Missouri, to the Music City this weekend for a crucial three-game series at E.S. Rose Park.
Games on Friday and Sunday will be streamed on ESPN+, and live audio play-by-play action of all three games will be broadcast on the Bruin Sports Network.
Saturday will be Community and Family Day at the ballpark, with face painting, balloon animals, free popsicles, giveaways, and a running of the bases scheduled for after the game.
The series marks the first home games for the Bruins since April 10. They have played nine straight on the road, going 6-3.

Kyle Brennan leads the country in saves (13). The graduate closer is the all-time program record holder for career saves (30), and was recently named to the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Stopper of the Year Award Midseason Watch List

Guy Lipscomb is second in the country in stolen bases (31). The sophomore outfielder broke the program record for most stolen bases in a single season on Tuesday by stealing second base in the first inning, breaking a tie with Matt Reynolds, who stole 30 bases in 2005.

Lipscomb has the tenth-lowest strikeout rate in the country. In 147 at-bats this season, the native of Franklin, Tenn., has struck out just ten times.
