NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Belmont University baseball team begins their final homestand of the year with a pair of nonconference midweek games against teams from the ASUN West Division this week at E.S. Rose Park.

Both games will be streamed on ESPN+, and audio play-by-play for Tuesday's Battle of the Boulevard will be simulcast on the Bruin Sports Network.

  • Freshman right-hander Jordan Zuger (2-1, 3.38 ERA) is the projected starter for Tuesday's game against Lipscomb. Wednesday's starter is TBA.

  • Junior second baseman Jack Capobianco hit a grand slam in Saturday's 16-1 win, the first grand slam by a Bruin since Logan Jarvis hit one against SIUE in April 2021

  • The 39 runs put up by Belmont this past weekend was the most in a series by the Bruins this season, eclipsing the 34 runs they scored in a three-game sweep of Murray State on April 1-3
