NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Belmont University men's cross country team returned to action on Friday morning at the Crimson Classic in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Â

In their fourth meet of the season, the Bruins claimed another runner-up finish in a field of 21 teams. Belmont finished ahead of Georgia, Kentucky, Auburn, Clemson and Florida State, among others.Â

Ethan Hammer led the way for the Bruins, finishing 14th with a personal best 8K time of 24:16.2. Â
Â
Zac Shaffer, Joel Wolf, Kevin Vanderkolk, and Nick Mota were other Bruins to finish inside the top 30. Â

Carter Cheeseman and Jacob Ricks also added times under 25:00.Â

Garrett Hesselgesser, Nathan Katic, Kevin Loftus and Kaden Keller also achieved personal best marks as Belmont closed out its Friday morning race.Â
