Men's Golf Finishes 4th at the Mickey Mouse Intercollegiate

ORLANDO, Fla. –  The Belmont men's golf team posted their best finish since October as they placed ourth at the Mickey Mouse Intercollegiate hosted by Bellarmine and held this week on the Disney Palm Course in Orlando, Florida.

In Tuesday's final round, Belmont carded a team score of 298 to move up a spot and finish in fourth place with a score of 880.  Wofford captured the team title with a score of 852.  IUPUI was second at 874, while Queens (NC) placed third at 876.

Sophomore Michael Senn led the Bruins as he shot a two-over par 74 on Tuesday to finish in a tie for sixth place at 215.  His sixth place finish tied his career best and his 54-hole was the lowest of his Belmont career.  Senn finished ten shots behind the tournament medalist, Matthew Larkin of Wofford (205). 

Freshman Jack Schoenberger posted a final round 74 to finish in a tie for 28^th at 221.  Graduate student Joe Bultman was two shots back of Schoenberger and finished in a tie for 35^th at 223.

Fellow graduate student Winston Margaritis tied for 40^th place at 224, while senior Coleman Jones finished in a tie for 65^th place at 230.

Freshman Conner Brown, competing as an individual, tied for 40^th place at 224. 

The men's golf team is off for a couple of weeks before returning to competition on March 9-11 at the Sea Palms Invitational in St. Simons Island, Georgia.
