NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Belmont men's golf team is back in action this Monday and Tuesday at the Ernie Denham Classic in Louisville, Kentucky.
TEAM NOTES
- In their last event, the Bruins finished ninth at the Missouri State Intercollegiate. Freshman Jack Schoenberger led the Bruins as he finished tied for 10th place.
- Schoenberger leads the team in scoring and top-10 finishes. He has a scoring average of 72.5 and two top-10 finishes.Â
- Junior Patrick Brooks, a Louisville native, ranks second on the team with a 72.8 average.
- Sophomore Michael Senn has had a solid spring season. He has three top-30 finishes and has been the team's top finisher twice.
This week's Ernie Denham Classic, hosted by Bellarmine, is being held at Standard Country Club in Louisville, which will play to a par 72 and a length of 6,762 yards.
The field features 12 teams and includes the likes of Austin Peay, Bellarmine, Morehead State, Northern Kentucky, UT-Martin, and one other MVC team, Murray State.
