CHICAGO – On its final day of competition at the Missouri Valley Conference Indoor Championships, Belmont men's track and field collected two medals and a program record.
Top Performing Bruins
Austin Belle secured second place in the 400m finals with a record-setting time of 47.31. Belle's silver medal mark was also a personal best in that event.
Carter Cheeseman earned second in the 3000m with a blazing time of 8:09.91.
Kevin Vanderkolk finished fifth in the 800m finals with a time of 1:52.40, giving Belmont four points.
The 4x400m relay squad (Morgan Lewis, Vanderkolk, Eric Toviave and Jayden Gray) finished fifth in 3:20.77, giving the Bruins four points.
Overall, Belmont finished in seventh place with 37.5 total points.
