NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Missouri Valley Conference announced its 2026 Track & Field Scholar-Athlete Team on Thursday, recognizing nine men and ten women of Belmont University's Track & Field programs for their academic and athletic achievements.
In order to be eligible for the MVC Track & Field Scholar-Athlete Team, student-athletes must meet both performance and academic standards. Honorees must compete in at least six regular season meets or place in the top eight at the conference championships, hold at least a cumulative 3.50 cumulative grade point average, and be at least a sophomore academically at their school.
Nine Bruin men met these criteria, posting an average GPA of 3.70. On the women's side, ten athletes made the list, sitting at a squad average of 3.91.
