Atlanta, Ga. -- Completing its first meet of the outdoor season, the Belmont University men's track and field team saw action at the Yellow Jacket Invite this weekend.Â
Hosted by Georgia Tech, the Bruins competed across six events at the meet.
Top Performing Bruins
Kevin Vanderkolk headlined for the Bruins, earning the top spot in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 9:07.09.
Zach Brill claimed fourth place in the 3000m steeplechase after finishing in a personal best 9:19.89.
Jackson Grant launched a personal best in the discus throw at 154' (46.98m).

Nick Mota finished in 3:53.33 in the 1500m, securing eight place overall.
Ben Miller threw a personal best his first javelin of the season at 169' (51.74m).

The Bruins will return to action next weekend at the Ole Miss Classic on Friday and Saturday March 22-23.Â
