Women's Track and Field Completes the Georgia Tech Invite

Atlanta, Ga. -- Competing in the Peach State for the second time this season, the Belmont University women's track and field team saw action at the Georgia Tech Invite in Atlanta this weekend. 

Top Performing Bruins

Rebekah Stucker headlined for the Bruins claiming top five finishes in each of her throwing events. She earned second in hammer throw (57.02m), fifth in shot put (14.62m) and fourth in discus (45.78m). 

Logan Gray earned third in shot put with a throw of 14.73m (48'4"). 

Tyra Finkeldey jumped 3.80m (12' 5.5") in pole vault.

Maddie Quinn placed second in the javelin throw with a launch of 44.16m (114' 10").

Kate Briscoe claimed fifth in the javelin throw with a heave of 41.36m (135' 8")

Clara Crain placed fifth in the 5000m in 17:25.67.

The Bruins will compete in the Music City next weekend at Vanderbilt's Outdoor Music City Challenge on April 26-27.
