Tomas Luis and redshirt junior
Diego Castro are the reigning Horizon League Doubles Team of the Week. The duo has won four in a row, along with senior
Alfred Wallin and junior
Ian Cruz at No. 3 doubles.
Â
Cruz is on a seven-match singles winning streak and is 11-2 at the third position, while Luis has won four straight and is 11-2 on the year at No. 2 singles. Junior
Gabriel Sardo has also won four consecutive matches at No. 6 singles, all in straight sets.
Â
Last April, the Bruins blanked Eastern Illinois 7-0 on the road after earning a 6-1 win over the Panthers in Nashville. Belmont defeated Lindenwood 6-1 in Missouri last season after sweeping the Lions 4-0 at home.
