NASHVILLE, Tenn. - - Belmont University women's soccer (1-2) faces rival Lipscomb (1-1-1) on Thursday, Aug. 29 in the Battle of the Boulevard. The last meeting between the teams that share Belmont Boulevard was on Aug. 25, 2019.

What's Bruin
- Freshman forward Reagan Ross leads the team with five shots and is second in the MVC with four shots on goal.
- Amanda Waggoner leads the Bruins with nine saves in two matches. The redshirt sophomore had four saves against Vanderbilt on Aug. 22; she set a career-high on Aug. 18 with five saves and earned her first career win.
- Sophomore defender Lillie Tabor leads the team with 255 minutes played. Tabor has logged consecutive 90-minute matches for the first time in her career.
- Belmont's coaching staff all have ties to Lipscomb. Head Coach Kelsey Cameron was the associate head coach for Kevin O'Brien when he took over the program in 2012. Cameron helped the Bisons reach three ASUN championship finals from 2012-16. Assistant Coach Daniel Vieira (Lipscomb '17) was a four-year letter winner for the Bisons and volunteer coach for the men's program during the program's 2021 ASUN regular season and tournament titles. Hailey Kerridge (Lipscomb '20) – formerly Hailey Eck – was a four-year letter winner and part of three consecutive ASUN Tournament Championships and back-to-back NCAA Championship appearances in 2018-19. Goalkeeper Coach Kate Mason (Lipscomb '19) played five seasons for O'Brien and was named the 2018 ASUN Goalkeeper of the Year. She previously served as Lipscomb's goalkeeper coach before joining Belmont this season.

- Lipscomb suffered their first loss of the season at Tennessee on Sunday, 3-0.
- Freshman goalkeeper Kaïna Cesar is 1-1-1 with two goals on thirteen shots faced through three matches. Cesar earned ASUN Goalkeeper of the Week Honors on Aug. 19 for her two blank slates during the Bisons' opening week.
- Reigning ASUN Freshman of the Year and 2024 ASUN Preseason All-ASUN honoree Bella Carapazza scored her first goal of the season on Aug. 18 against Alabama A&M. The midfielder is second on the team in shots (8).
