NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Following another solid showing at the Gans Creek Classic in Colombia, Mo, the Belmont women's cross country team is set to compete at the Crimson Classic hosted by the University of Alabama on Friday.
The Bruins head south following a 16th-place finish at Mizzou, where they raced against elite competition.Â
In Tuscaloosa, they'll again face some of the top teams in the nation, including South Region competitors Ole Miss, Auburn, and Miami.
The meet also marks the last opportunity for Belmont to gauge its abilities ahead of the conference championship on October 31.
The Women's 6KÂ Race is set for a 9:20Â a.m. start.
