NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Belmont women's cross country team competed at the Crimson Classic, held at the Harry Pritchett Running Park in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
The Bruins raced against some of the top teams in the nation, including South Region competitors Auburn and Vanderbilt.
Continuing her impressive first season,
Sophie Nicholls was the first finisher for the Belmont women, placing 31st with a time under 21 minutes.
Sophomore
Lilie Fouts and Junior
Clara Crain stuck together for most of the race, followed closely by
Carson Wasemiller.
