ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Graduate student women's golfer
Chloe Tarkany has been named Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) Co-Golfer of the Week as announced by the conference office on Thursday.  This is the sixth time she has won the award.Â
Chloe earned medalist honors at this week's Braun Intercollegiate.  She posted rounds of 73 and 72 for a 145 total. She edged her teammate
Sloane Biddle by two strokes.Â
With the victory, she becomes just the second Belmont women's golfer to win three individual titles, joiningÂ
Lorie Warren Drake, who captured seven during her career.Â
In addition, her six Golfer of the Week awards now ranks second all-time in program history, one behind her former teammate,
Delia Gibbs (7).
The Bruins also captured the team title at the Braun Intercollegiate. It was the program's 11th championship in the Division I era.Â
Tarkany and her Belmont teammates will be back in action this Monday and Tuesday at The Judson in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
