NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Belmont women's golf team is back in action this Monday and Tuesday at the Braun Intercollegiate in Evansville, Indiana.
WHAT'S BRUIN
- In their last event, the Bruins finished in seventh place at the Butler Fall Invitational in Indianapolis. Sophomore Sloane Biddle led BU as she tied for ninth place.
- Biddle leads the team in scoring with a 73.5 average and two top-10 finishes.
- Graduate student Chloe Tarkany ranks second at 75.8, while junior Paige Hammarstrom is third at 77.2
- The Bruins posted their two lowest team rounds of the season at Butler, a 298 and 301.
The Braun Intercollegiate, hosted by fellow MVC member Evansville, is a two-day, 36-hole event that will feature 18 holes on Monday and 18 on Tuesday. It will be played at Oak Meadow Country Club, which plays to par of 72 and a length of 5,938 yards.
The field features 12 teams and includes four other MVC squads: Evansville, Valparaiso, UIC, and Indiana State.
Last year, Belmont finished runner-up at this event and Biddle tied for second place individually.
