ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Sophomore women's golfer
Sloane Biddle has been named Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) Co-Golfer of the Week as announced by the conference office on Friday. This is the third time she has won the award.
She shares the award with Murray State's Elin Tynan and Bradley's Caroline McConnell.
Sloane earned the honor after finishing runner-up at The Velvet Classic earlier this week. She tied for first place after 54 holes with a score of 221, but fell in the four-player playoff to Troy's Constanza Quiroga.
It was her second top-two finish in her last three events dating back to last spring and her fifth top-10 finish of her Belmont career.
For the season, Biddle leads the team in scoring with a 73.7 average.
The women's golf team will be back in action on September 29-30 at the Butler Fall Invitational in Indianapolis.
