MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Belmont men's golf team is in 11
th place after day one of the Memphis Intercollegiate held Monday at Colonial Country Club in Cordova, Tennessee.
Belmont shot rounds of 308 and 316 to finish the day in 11
th place at 624. Host Memphis has the lead at 584, with nationally ranked Illinois in second at 589.
The lone Bruin among the top-30 is graduate student
Foster Wood, who posted rounds of 77 and 76 to finish in a tie for 26
th place at 153. He is twelve shots back of the individual leader, Memphis' Diego Lourenco (141).
Sophomore
Chris Harpum is tied for 44
th place at 156 after shooting rounds of 77 and 79 on Monday.
Other Belmont scores from day one included: sophomore
Grey Goff (T-55, 158), freshman
Brennan Cozad (T-59, 160), and junior
Conner Brown (T-63, 161).
